Hi All
I hav'nt been on the forum for a long time due to an unpleasant experience with one of the
ex members so I hav'nt upgraded Rev for a long time and now want to make (like most people) an App.
Not sure though if Rev is capeable of doing what I need done.
I would like to record a mobile user speaking into the microphone and at the same time record sound effects
of a game they are playing. At the same time I would also like to capture/record video of the mobiles screen
Is this possible? To capture all audio and a video screen capture at the same time?
I would then like the user to be able to send the recorded video.
Is this possible to do for Android and IOS?

This is not possible with the built-in tools of Livecode.
But maybe Montes cool external collection (curretnly iOS only) can offer this functionality?

Is it possible to just record from only the external microphone and capture the screen
at the same time for Android in LiveCode?

sorry, but I think this is also not possible with the built-in tools of Livecode.
Screencapturing is definitively not supported.

Hi,
Probably not what you had in mind, but you can record Android devices on a desktop machine with Ashot. This website provides a Mac version. I think that Windows and Linux versions are available from the Ashot website.

Great to see you are still around.
I would have happily upgraded my old Runrev to LiveCode today if it supported this function.
Screencasting looks like it has been around for android for a little while :

I'm afraid by the time this gets implemented in LiveCode my "App" moment would have passed.
