App store rejections.

Post by Rod Edwardson » Mon Apr 15, 2013 8:35 pm

Hello all

I have a number of apps currently available on the App Store but have run into some challenges with the latest group I have submitted. Recently they have been rejected for the same reason. It looks like they are becoming more an more critical. They say the app.....

"Did not include iOS features. For example, it would be appropriate to use native iOS buttons and iOS features other than just web views, Push Notifications, or sharing."

I am using the MOBGUI plugin so have incorporate the native iOS buttons, navbar etc. The latest app, which is a gag style, takes text, manipulates it and then outputs it into a second text box. There is no need for push notifications and I'm not sure what they mean by "Sharing". Anyone run into this issue before, and if so, any ideas on strategy to get it past the guys behind the curtain at Apple? Any idea as to what "Sharing" refers to?

Thanks in advance!

Rod

Hi Rod,

Have you asked them which "other" features those would be? Given the cross-platform nature of LiveCode, it would mean that LC is no longer suitable for the iTunes tore. Perhaps time to move to Android. Sorry, I don't have more to add.

Kind regards,

Mark
