DataGrid Terms in Data Grid API Lesson

Hello,

So, there are a lot of terms that pop up in the Data Grid API Lesson content, and some of it is conceptually redundant from my understanding of English. I am hoping for some clarification about what exactly is being referred to in the following terms in LiveCode Data Grids:
