I'm trying to make a button into a nice icon with this lesson: http://chum210.byu.edu/InClass/ButtonIconsExercise.pdf

However, when I click any of the items like "inner glow" all the area below is grayed out. What gives? Am I missing some component of LiveCode Community 6.0?

you (also) need to set the hilite of the checkbox to set the options for any effect!

Ah, I see what you mean. I was just checking the buttons as directed, but you need to have the thing highlighted in blue. Thanks.
