Multiple Versions of LiveCode

Started with LiveCode Community 6.01 but after a number of updates I now have 6.01, 6.02, 6.1 (rc 2) & 6.1 (rc3).
Do I need them all or can I delete all but the most recent?

Hi Pip,
all these are "Developer Releases" and/or "Betas"***, so wait until the final (GM = Golden Master)
of 6.1 comes out and load and use THAT version
*** Means NOT neccessary stable!
Best
Klaus

When the Gold Master is released, can I then delete all the other versions?

Yep, unless you want to keep them for erm... sentimental reasons

Hi,
seems that 6.1 Gold (6.1.0 Build 2005) is out now, but it still makes problems in Win7-64:
As soon as you uninstall the prev versions you lose the file binding. (i.e. A .rev file isn't associated anymore)
So starting a .rev gives you the question "What program to use to start this with?"
Finding the most fresh LiveCode*.exe doesn't work, LiveCode will not show up in the dialog after selecting.
Obviously since a few updates the new versions are installing properly, but not registering themselves with Windows anymore.
Once (rc 2?) I managed to get back my file associations with heavy editing of the registry, but with a new version coming out every other day I'll not do this this often.
Here seems to be a Win-Problem. Reading the install-log I see only setting uninstall-values in the registry, but no new registering of the new .exe.
Didn't write a bug report because of business overload yet. Do I have to do, or can help someone else? I'm really busy atm ...
Have fun!
