Stack Does Not Work In Simulator

Just created a very simple stack & it work in run mode in Livecode but as soon as I try to run it in the iPad simulator it will not run. Have a missed a step somewhere?
there a millions of possiblities why it doesn't work.
Guessing is not an option, so please supply at least a TINY bit of information:
Do you get an error?
Anything in the "pre-/openstack" scriptthat might cause this?
Are you using externals?
Any Livecode libraries checked in th standalone builder?
etc...
