video capture on iOS and Android

Hello,
Just discovered LiveCode and I think its a really great product.
When I stepped into Livecode I was looking for a fast development solution since I'm developing the prototype of a video recording app.
I want to ask if LiveCode supports video capture on iOS and Android and if there are existing libraries and examples to look at.

I tried to search for an answer on this forum and on Google but I didn't find any definitive and clear info, so I'm asking to the community.

Buongiorno Enrico,

1. welcome to the forum!

2. Livecode does not support Video recording out of the box on iOS, but there are some (commercial)
externals that can make this work, check this site:

3. No idea about Android, but I am afraid this is not possible, simply because there is no
externals development kit SDK for Android (yet).

Looks like I've to postpone the video recording app and find something else to develop
