Documentation of Field object post v5.5

I am seeking documentation about the field object which I think was updated in version 5.5. I know that I can read about the properties in the dictionary but is there a single document that describes what a field is capable of?

Hi Simon,
a while back I posted a stack from Runrev that showed the features of the new field.

It is quite informative and helped me to understand.
Sadly, no right alignment in table fields.

Never saw it on RunRev... Now I know what all that field fuss was about!
