In Lesson 9 of the App Academy, it includes a custom control called "Pinch" which has code for a button. In the video an earlier version of LiveCode is being used. It shows how to include this custom control in a different stack. In the Basic Properties, it allows the user to choose the Main Stack in a droplist and you can choose the stack that you are currently working on.

I am using LC 6.5.0 Build 3009. There is no place that I see to choose the Main Stack. Am I missing something?

I realize that I can just copy/paste the code but that defeats the purpose of re-using someone else's control.

The Multi Touch stack included with Lesson 9 is corrupted. This may be the problem. Maybe this file can be uploaded again?

What version of LiveCode are you running? Stack corruption is very rare, but a stack saved in a newer version may be reported as corrupted if opened in an older version.
