Encrypted stack in LiveCode Community Edition

Hi Guys,

Not sure anyone can help, but I bought a commercial license last year to develop an app. The license as lapsed and instead of renewing as I didn't make that much progress with my app, I've decided to use the community edition until I am ready to publish and distribute. The only problem is I was using an datepicker plugin which is encrypted so I can't open my main stack up in the community version.

Does anyone know of any commands I can type in the message box (before I load my stack) to remove the datepicker stack from my mainstack as I can integrate this once I buy the commercial license. I wasn't aware that the stack wouldn't open if I had a commercial plugin embedded, I just assumed the plugin would be obfuscated and not work but the stack would load into memory.

Thanks

Jalz

Hi Jalz,

I don't think the community can access any encrypted stack at all, so this won't work.
I can offer that you send me the stack privately or put it on your server and I will remove
that namely stack: klaus AT major-k.de

Is it in LC 6 or LC 7 format? I may need to download LC 7 for this.

Best

Thanks Klaus,

I'll send it later on when I am back at home if that's OK.

You'll have a right laugh looking at my code

Cheers

Hi Jalz,

I never look at other peoples code, unless I have to, which does not seem to be the case here 8)

Hi Klaus,

Just wanted to thank you for your assistance again. Realised I had a license for LC 5.5 which doesn't work on a subscription basis, so used this to delete the encrypted stack.

It seems to all work fine in the community edition now :)

Cheers
