full screen chat

I am looking to build a full screen chat system with big letters.
I can find how to make a socket connection and a socket server
(I didn't do it yet, but I see that this info is available)
But I can not find how I can popup a full screen message
in big letters. It is for a space with bad light conditions
and 3 people who opperate stuff must be able to see the
messages that I send to them.
