Hello all,
I have an app in the app store that my partner and I created for our client. It has been published for a few months now. Today, our client received an email from Google Play Developer services saying that they wanted to let us know that our app "statically link[s] against a version of OpenSSL that has multiple security vulnerabilities for users" and that they are going to "block publishing of any new apps and updates that use unsupported versions of OpenSSL".
The notice lists some other gobbledygook that is totally foreign to me (I'm a LiveCode guy only, so bash scripting-looking stuff is all hogwash).
Long story short, it's saying there is a problem with something that I have no idea about, for which I depend on LiveCode to have handled. Does anyone know what this is, and what I can do about it?
I can definitely include more information about the notice if needed, I just didn't want to drown this post with unneeded information if this is some kind of standard or simple thing.
Deadline is 7/7/15.
Thanks much!
Phil E.
