Reinstalled LiveCode

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and had to reinstall LiveCode. I thought I would just do a relicense. However, when I select that option and restart LiveCode, I'm not prompted for anything. How can I make sure my LiveCode install is properly set up with my current subscription? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi athelene and welcome to the forum - in the Help menu you should see an item called 'Re-license LiveCode', clicking this should re-start the activation process and try to connect to your licence

Thank you. I did that. Was prompted that LiveCode would restart. I clicked on OK but it never did restart. I manually restarted but don't see any prompts or anything. Was never asked for a subscription code or other identifier.

hmm - something going on but I don't have an answer for you - only some questions (and I don't have a win10 box to test on):

Is LiveCode being blocked access to the Internet or demoted to 'second-class-citizen' by win10 or your anti-virus? What version of LiveCode are you using? If LC8 or LC7.1(dp1) how about a more stable variant of LC7?

If nobody else here has an answer for you then you could contact LiveCode customer service...

Kind regards

Dave

Thank you for your message Dave. I'm using LC ver 7.0.6. Build 10038. I don't really know how to tell if LC is being blocked. No error messages from LC, the OS or AV. When I click on menu items such as tutorials and such, it seems to connect and give me what I expect. I'll contact customer support. Just wanted to be a good citizen and try the forums first. :)
