How can you control the speed of scrolling down a field?

Hmmm.
There are all kinds of tools for this sort of this as regards scrollbars, But I am not sure there is one for fields.
I am probably wrong.
You can always roll your own, where a mouseStillDown handler sets the scrollSpeed of the field, but I bet a buck that LC has something already. Anyone?
