revNewScriptEditor 1 keeps popping up out of nowhere and freezing the app. I have tried reinstalling but it happened again. Any thoughts?

Is this with a 6+,7+ or 8+ version of LiveCode?
If you can tell me the version you are using it might be easier to try and reduplicate it.

Are you sure you haven't hit a script error? That's what happens when you drop into the debugger, and until you leave debug mode the app will be unresponsive.

Communiity 7.1.2
I only get the problem with command-4 and command-s (save) OUTSIDE the debugger.
So now I save from the menu. INSIDE the debugger both work fine.
My workaround is to open the script of another object, then use command-4.
Works well. Problem solved.
