Hi,

The new Livecode 8 Seems some problem in linux (64 bit) systems, I can't found dictionary in this version and can't able to use revBrowser, etc.
Please find the attached screenshot,
What type of error is this?. I am using free LC version.

Thank

Hi Sam,

I believe I discussed this with yourself or a member of your team via support

Please find my reply below.

------
I've checked in with our Linux dev and we have recently had some reports of the dictionary not populating for some of our linux users. We believe its something to do with the CEF browser and are actively looking to provide a fix in a future version of LiveCode 8.

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger

Is there any problem with my OS?
Did you have any idea to get that output?, did i have to install something special?

Thanks,

Hi Samjith,

Even through we both run Ubuntu, it seems to affect only specific installs. We are still trying to narrow down what is causing the CEF issue and our dev team is hard at work on this as we speak.

I note that you are using LC 8 DP5 from your screenshot. Please update to LC8 DP7 as this may resolve this error that you are experiencing.

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger
