Where do I find explantion of the properties of buttons? I don't understand shorcut & memnonic. The dictionary talks about setting filters but I don't get it. How do I look up all the attributes of a button?

To look up all the properties of the Button control, open the dictionary, and on the left hand side there are three twisting arrow (expansion controls) for the three different main sections of the dictionary:

Library >
Object >
Language >

If you expand the Object section, you will see a list of controls, one of which is 'button'. By clicking on that you will see the properties relating to buttons.

Shortcut is not listed as a button property, but mnemonic is listed (for Windows only). You might be interested in acceleratorKey.
