I decided to have a look at LC8 dp15 to see how the progress has been since I last used it (some time ago).

First thing I thought I'd try was to make a Datagrid table. Didn't get too far as it's very different than prior versions. Is there any documentation on how Datagrids work in LC8? What I was hoping to do was to add columns to a standard DG Table but I can't for the life of me figure out where I go to add columns to the table.

I filed a bug report on this. They left out the capability of creating the columns in a table DG. For now you'll need to use DHG or add the columns with code.

Are they claiming that DG is now more-or-less complete? The last I had heard, DG was going to be late because it is by far the most complicated object in LC.

Check the link to the bug report. They say this is scheduled to be worked on starting 3/15. I'm sure they will add more to DGs as LC 8 moves forward.
