Can LC 8 test on Android device? - LC 8 DP 16 Solved

I am not having much luck testing a one button card stack as an Android device using LC 8 on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.5. I have no problems with LC 7.
Is it me or is it a bug with LC 8?

What DP of LC 8 are you working with?

I think with DP 15 you'll need to update your Android SDK.

Hi,
I was just setting up for Android testing on a MacbookPro 10.10.5. with LC 8 DP 15 following all the official instructions from the livecode website. I got the app launching on the virtual device but was greeted by the feared black screen. I fiddled around with different settings for the Android Virtual Device but never got past the black screen. Since I needed to test a stack using GPS sensor data I did not spent a lot of time with it and deployed directly to the device which worked without issue.

That's the same exact experience that I had with trying to use LC 8 DP15 on virtual device.

It must be a bug.

It's nice to know that it worked on the actual device.

If you think it's a bug then do something about it.
