Button Gadget

I recall that in the days of Rev 3 how impressed I
was that a programme like Button Gadget could be
made with Rev.

When I saw it mentioned recently I went to the
Intuit side but it seems to have moved on to
other things.

A search found it available for download here

It runs on Win XP without the need for a reg. code.

It seems to have become "abandon ware" but as an example of
what's possible with this language it's still without equal.

Is there a chance that the owners could be persuaded to make
it "Open Source"? It would be a superb learning tool
as well as being a useful programme.

That would be up to the author. You might try contacting him to see if he'd be interested in releasing it as open source.

Who is the author?

A name that comes to mind is Chip Walters.

Does that ring a bell?
