Hi
I'm wondering, is there any standalone application settings that has to be done in order to get LC 8 widgets to work properly.
I've tried the Browser and the Navbar but the function they suppose to run doesn't work at all
looking forward to receive a helping hand here

// Joran
Obs ! The NavBar works in the Runmod though

Hi Joran,
did you include the widgets/extensions in the standalone settings?
Kind regards
Bernd

Hi - have you included the widgets in your app's StandAloneSettings dialog box? Go to the 'Copy files' tab and select the ones you want to be included in the standalone...

Hi Dave,
Ah! Bernd was too quick for me

since we are now on our road to:
Make the final grand target of $70,000 and take LiveCode to Infinity and Beyond.
I want to be "infiniter and beyonder"
Which is probably the tag line of the next campaign.
Please help me: what is beyond infinity?
Kind regards
Bernd

Bernd I have no idea
But as an Irishman I would have to say that what is beyond beyond is the "back of beyond'
Kind regards
Dave

Hi Bernd, for the answer to that I think you'll have to ask Buzz Lightyear

I asked Dr. Wikipedia and now it makes sense. Did not know that Buzz Lightyear had "To Infinity and Beyond" as his motto.
At the same time it is reassuring because I was afraid that Marketing was going over the top...
Kind regards
Bernd

Hi and thanks for your advise, now the navbar works just fine, included the widget via file copy in standalone settings and voila.
Have not seen this important know how mentioned anywhere, not in the lesson about widgets, in this case the navbar.
But I'm a newbie . . . catching up as much as I can.
