Hi, I'm just looking at the Revolution products and wondered if the following was possible;
* Is it possible to read in the text of a PDF file
* Is it possible to extract the document's metadata
* Can the solution then index those data sources?

Jeff, Revolution does not have that level of support for PDFs built-in. You're stuck with display-only (via rev browser), I'm afraid, unless you want to be brave (foolish?) and try to write your own PDF parsing code!

There may be ways of doing some of what you need via applescript/vbscript/shell commands.
