List all the files in a directory. Recursively

Hi, sorry if this is the nth time somebody post this question, but apparently most of the obvious words to look for this subject in the forum database are too obvious for the server to run the query.
So, my question is Is there anybody who already built a function to search recursively for all the files in a directory, including the sub-folders? If not, I'll write it & post it to the forum, but I bet somebody did it before…
