Hi,

I have installed the latest livecode and it seems to insist on making the background grey, it has always been transparent before. This is only a pain because it hides the android simulator.

I can go to preferences and change the colour, and also hit reset to get a transparent background, but when I restart it always goes back to grey.

Is there a way to get it to stick to a transparent background?

I must be thinking of something other than what you are thinking of andyh1234, because as far as I know, the 'background' has always been opaque, it can either be on or off, and whatever color/pattern you set it too *should* be the color/pattern it remains.

Want to put up a screen shot of what your talking about?

Could it be that you have backdrop on? See View>backdrop.
