1. Never done any sort of computer programming before.

2. Coming to LiveCode from other programming languages.

Mind you, I wonder what the point of those things is?

I've never seen a good use come out of them, the best I've seen is a neutral use, such as automated response systems (customer support related usually, though there have been some pretty fair chatbots that can fool people).

Old game systems, where the play was all text based, was the last actual "good" use for this sort of thing, so I guess maybe there is some good in anything.

In this context (i.e Forums) some "pillock" has set up this thing, and presumably for
some purpose . . .
