Searched the beginners forum for "books" . Didn't get much in return. Are there any books out there for LiveCode? Amazon has few for mobile dev but i'm looking more for general desktop scripting etc.. Not really into video tutorials.

How much of the 800-page User Guide included in the install have you read? That'll help us determine where you are, and where to go next.

I know what you mean about video tutorials - the issue is that there is no real continuity between videos etc. There are many educational resources available in the liveCode Store you may want to look at.
It may be worth looking at the LiveCode course on Udemy however (
https://www.udemy.com/course/livecodemobile/), as although it's video course it's well structured and nicely presented (cost is ~£10 I think). A bit old now but does cover the basics nicely and is probably the quickest way to get up to scratch with many of the basics...

These stacks were created to be an introduction to the basics for new users:

Read them in order for at least the first few, since concepts are introduced based on what came before. They are dated in appearance now but the content is still valid.

That's extremely queer as it seems OK "over here" (Bulgaria).
Thank you very much for this information; I have contacted the Facebook people to see if they can sort things out.

It also features:
1. NO bare bottoms.
2. NO political content.
3. NO do-it-yourself bomb making instructions.
If these facts disappoint you: tough cheese.
Mind you, the Facebook people are culturally ignorant and blocked one of my pages for a month because
I posted a recipe of my Mum's:

It seems like there was a problem of some kind over there in Zuckerbergland, after I posted here I noticed people were complaining of similar messages happening in some rather benign FB groups I'm in, around the same time. I'm really not a fan of their "standards" which seem rather arbitrary to me, and as you said can be culturally ignorant. Hopefully they'll get you sorted out.

When I started trying to wrap my head around Livecode, this site helped immensely.

As previously mentioned, the user guide and conference stacks are also very useful as well.

Zuckerbergland
Oddly enough my warped mind parsed that as "Zuckerber" + "gland",
and, just maybe that's the source of the problem, someone's
subjective glands.
