Hi Everyone . . . a Newbie question.
I need to build a cross-platform installer (Win/Mac) that will put files from a zipped folder (that will contain the files to be installed, the installer stack itself and a couple of installer applications that need to be triggered).
Revolution seems ideal for this. I have always been a Hypercard fan.
I've looked at free installers, commercial installers, tools (Automater/Applescript on Mac) but really want to leverage dual platform as we do with our commercial FileMaker applications.
Any thoughts for or against using Revolution Media? Any tips, words to the wise etc.
Thanks so much.
Eric

Dear Eric,
Perhaps I can help you. I have an installer, which I provide as a one-time service to clients. You can find an example of the installer in action at http://www.twistaword.net .
Best,
Mark
