I'm trying to create a simple app in LiveCode, but I'm struggling with the interface design. What are some best practices or resources for designing user-friendly interfaces in LiveCode?? Thanks in advance for your support

Interesting question.
No context at all? OK,
-Intuitive
-Logical
-Not overdone in terms of colors, shapes and fonts.
-Fun
In other words, what are you building?

As Craig says there is no one interface for every app, although similarities exist.
UI/UX is a big thing on it's own, if done properly may take longer to design that the app itself... so don't feel bad if struggling with this.
If you're looking for inspiration, you can and should use a search engine and limit the findings to images, for example you could google images for "desktop app interface design example".
Or if you describe what you're trying to build, perhaps some here may give you specific tips - there is practically nothing new under the sun...

Whatever Stam says.
His main point is that if you are building an address book, the UI part is straightforward, needs little fancy gadgetry, and should take less time to build than the app itself. And an address book would take an experienced LC person half an hour, including bells and whistles. But one could spend forever making it look one way or the other.
But something more complex requires forethought. What are you thinking about?

I think that was a sausage, as opposed to spam.
