Hi All.

I have just downloaded revStudio, and am trying to learn how to use it.

The videos are really excellent however I cannot seem to find a language reference... revStudio seems to be really different from any programming language I have used before.

Does anyone have one? Or a link to one?

Regards

Hi Dixie.

Thank you very much for your response.

I hate to say this but I look at the Dictionary and get even more confused than before I looked.

I try to find a print statement example, or a textfield example and wind up with some very strange results. I look at the tabfield below where all the commands are and get really lost.

Any more help you can give? If NOT, then that isn't a problem. If you CAN then it would be appreciated.

Regards

Start with the User Guide and then use the Dictionary as reference.

Thanks for the reply.

I did go through those documents, however, my problem can best be described as when I want to see how to do something, i.e. put text in a field box, I don't know what to look under IN the Dictionary.

My searching is not working.

Regards

hi azrael,

you might want to have a look at the resource center under the help menu. There are a lot of well explained examples there.

http://www.runrev.com/developers/lesson ... tutorials/
basically the same on the web

Then there is also:
http://revolution.byu.edu/indexgeneric.php
A course in Rev programming.

And also very helpful are the Online Scripting Conferences, they walk you through a topic at a time
