Only LiveCode?

Sorry, I've been out of it for a while, so this might seem a strange question, but I'm puzzled.
Is there now only LiveCode?
I'm still using Revolution Media, but I just tried the RevOnline feature and the server can't be reached. Furthermore, the RunRev site seems only to talk about LiveCode. Has Revolution Media ceased to exist? Must I change to LiveCode (or even SuperCard)?
Puzzled.

The software has been renamed to LiveCode
The version called Media is gone
On a good note though, your Rev Media will keep working until you decide to stop using it

So far, the very supportive members of this forum have continued to answer my revMedia questions. I allow myself to believe that won't change.

Hmm, sorry to hear that RevMedia is gone. It was an pretty good alternative to HyperCard and a lot cheaper than SuperCard (I preferred it to SuperCard, too).
I see that LiveCode consists of numerous packages, which can be purchased separately to form a complete suite. Now, the thing is, do I go with LiveCode, or shall I stick with SuperCard (an upgrade has just been announced for that product)?
My needs are modest and were all covered by RevMedia: will these same needs be covered by the basic version of LiveCode with no add-ons?
(Yes, I could stick with RevMedia, but I don't want to wake up one morning to find that it no longer works with the latest version of MacOS X.)

Hi exheusden,
you said it yourself, you can RevMedia until you want any of the new features of Livecode or RevMedia does not run on your operating system anymore. Then you could buy for 99$ the Livecode personal package.
@ Bantymom,

I for one dont care whether you call it RevMedia or Livecode, it is still the same and the questions will be the same. So dont worry about the LiveCode moniker.

Please give yourself a good grade for your Livecode/RevMedia progress

honestly, i haven't figured out how the pricing works on the new LiveCode and am just sticking with Rev 4.0.. I originally went with Rev because of the cross-platform nature (I was using REALbasic for a long time too, but I prefer X-Talk).. Haven't looked at SuperCard since the days of 68K Macs

Well, until Apple stops supporting 32-bit GUI apps I believe it shall work for a long time to come (hopefully Rev starts updating the GUI before that date)
