Assuming a new LiveCoder does not yet posses an iPad to test his code upon, how can you simulate a multi-touch experience with the emulator - if one only possess a mouse (on his/her Mac)?

Hi PSmith,

hold down the alt or option key then the simulator will show two whitish points that you control with your mouse.

Kind regards

Thanks. So, multi-touch for Android and iOS is limited to 2 finger gestures?

Hi Psmith,

I don't know for Android but as far as I am aware there are only 1 and 2 finger gestures in iOS.

The trackpad in MacOSX has multifinger (2,3,4) gestures though as of 10.6.x

Kind regards

Bernd
