Hello
My school has just started making the switch from the outdated COMAL to LiveCode. I like what I've seen so far and I'm looking forward to developing with it. One concern of mine is what options do I have to continue a project I am working on in school, at home. As far as I know I can't touch LiveCode at home unless I fork out £70 with seems a waste as I will only be using it for my 1 year advanced higher computing course. I was wondering if there is any free solutions or if you could give me advice on how I can finish tasks from school on my home PC.
I run Windows 7.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You could write to support and see what they say. There may be a way if your school has a multiple seat license with an unused seat.

But if you never use LiveCode further than assigned homework, that would be the real waste! LiveCode is pretty addictive, so I think you'll be happy to buy once you try.As far as I know I can't touch LiveCode at home unless I fork out £70 with seems a waste as I will only be using it for my 1 year advanced higher computing course.

I understand, LiveCode looks great and I'd love to buy it but I'm only 16. £70 is not something you can be spending on programming languages especially when there are thousands of other free alternatives.Curry wrote:But if you never use LiveCode further than assigned homework, that would be the real waste!
