Scrolling Field - Lock Column

If I have a scrolling field with multiple columns, can I do a locktext on one of the columns? I have tried...

set locktext of item 1 of field "Field" to true

Hi Warren,

the answer is: no you can't.

But you can "fake" this behaviour by using more more than one field and scroll them together.

The user won't tell the difference
