museum local install

Post by kyocera » Wed Feb 24, 2016 4:31 pm

Hi there,

I'm an experienced Director developper and wonder what's the best solution for museum style local app. on Android 7" tablets. There is no need for, nor available, network. The app (mostly interactive slideshow/video/quiz) will be locally installed.

My initial tought was that it was much simpler to design/implement than standard Android market app.. Could Livecode do the trick here? Thanks!

It sounds like LiveCode could do what you describe quite well. Have you run into problems implementing this?

I agree, this would be an excellent fit for LiveCode. We've had more than one museum app use the platform with good success. And you're right that not needing a network connection makes it pretty straightforward.

Ok. Thanks for your answer. I'm a real newbee on Android app design and try to figure what's the design/packaging/publishing process vs PC.
