Running Rev from a portable drive

Post by asawyer13 » Thu Jul 19, 2007 6:15 pm

I THINK my Rev Studio license is licensed to me, and not by computer installation, so I was wondering if it can be installed and run from a portable drive? I am using version 2.8.1 and would like to run it on my portable usb drive. It is NOT a U3 drive.
Is this possible? Is this okay to do it?

Alan,

It is okay to do this --as far as I can see--, but chances are that you have to enter your license key each time when you move your installed copy of Revolution to a different computer. Just give it a try.

Best,
