why the size of a revlet is so small ?

Post by jmburnod » Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:03 am

Hi All,

I have done a revlet with a stack and a substack (the substack contains 64 images)

It work well :D (in local using with safari on OSX only at this moment)

I see that the size of the revlet is much smaller than the size of the standalone (4.2 Mo for the revlet and 14.5 Mo for the OSX standalone)

Why ?

All the best

Bonjour jean-Marc,

the main difference is that the standalone engine is NOT attached to a Revlet.
(= ca. 6.5 MB for the Mac OS universal standalone engine)
The installed Plug-in is the engine for these stacks!
And probably Revlets are also compressed somehow.

Best

Klaus
