IDE Backdrop strange behaviour

Hi

I am confused. Whenever I close (or close and remove from memory) stack my IDE backdrop disappears. I like to use backdrop in Rev IDE because it keeps me focused on my work but for some reason it always goes invisible after I close stack...
Is there a workaround for this?

Rev 3 (2.9 too)
WinXP SP1
