Congrats and welcome to the fun and games, Rich!
I believe you will be surprisingly please once you get your feet wet.
Heh... I've been thinking about buying the desktop bundle myself.
There are 2-3 packages in there that I really have been wanting and any two of those three in particular, would pay for the whole thing at regular pricing. Still might.

I couldn't pass it up either. I have looked at LiveCode several times, but had to much money invested in RS... but not on this offer. Sorry richh, I didn't have a link to post. I got the offer by email, and my email is at home (Thanks doc). I think we will enjoy our journey from RS to LiveCode.

My plan is to use RB for Win and MAC.
And use LiveCode for Android and iOS only.
I've just purchased the OmegaBundle after a week of research.
If anyone has a good starting point for developing for Android on LiveCode please post.
I remember reading the Visual Guild to Visual Basic.
The best book ever.
Just wish I could find one like it for Android and LiveCode.
All my best,

So far I really love LiveCode. My biggest problem with RB was creating reports/print preview... it sucks and RS doesn't seem to want to provide a good solution. I have had a lot of luck creating my reports in LiveCode. LiveCode has taken a lot of time to learn, but it is well worth the effort. Like Barry I am planning on doing some work with Android, I have one client that is ready to start on an android app.
I use VB.Net/C# most of the time, but with the OmegaBundle I thought LiveCode would be a good tool to have around. I am completely satisifed with the purchase and I enjoy using LiveCode.

I've pruchased the OmegaBundle for LiveCode.
My reasearch indicated The OmegaBundle includes Valentina Studio Pro.
And I understand Valentina Studio Pro includes Valentina Reports.
Please feel free anyone to correct me on this.
I know vReports was part of vStudio when vReports first came out.
But its been too long since I've used vReports to verify.
