Having a problem with explicit variables.

Seems to be set to "True" although I don't know how
or why. Default is "False".

I haven't set it myself.

Is there an option somewhere to set to "False"?

I think what you need is to uncheck the 'variable checking by default' button in the menu

Revolution>preferences>script editor

Thought it might be that but as the option description
bears no relationship to the action I wanted to be sure
before I made any changes to my prog.
