"A stack of this name already exists" warning

Post by gyroscope » Sat May 17, 2008 2:24 pm

Hi, here's another one I want to get out of system!

If I open my project in a freshly opened Rev and click to inspect the stack script, sometimes I get the error message "A stack of this name already exists".

No it doesn't! It's the only stack showing in the Application Browser...

So the question please: where in the Rev engine does it think another stack with the same name exists?

(I click OK on the warning, and carry on as usual; it saves OK; so "all's well with the stack-world" except the warning...

:)

Dear Gyroscope,

Yes, this bug is very annoying, I agree. I believe this bug has been reported already, but if you can't find it in the QCC, please add it to the database.

Also, your message doesn't belong here. It should be in the Featere Requests or Beta Community subforum.

Best,

Hi Mark, thanks for your answer; I should have guessed it was a bug!

I wonder if admin can move this post there?

Hi Gyroscope,

I suppose one of the admins can, but I don't believe this is considered a big deal.
