tab object

Post by kotikoti » Tue Aug 19, 2008 12:41 pm

Hi All,
huffing and puffing, can't figure this out as yet...
RR2.9 on vista and on XP, trying to use the tab object, successfully adding the object to a card, but that's all I seem to be able to do.
When I try to add objects within the tab elements, they don't appear to be "slotted" in as I would have expected.

-> I select the tab in question,
-> add an onbject i.e. a field,
-> move to next tab, and alas, the field appears to be on-top of the overall tab object.

I know I will kick myself whe this is answered, maybe will need to lie down abit as well...

Please help me out of this rut...

Tab Object

Tabs in Rev are very strange things.

If you use the search function with
"Tab Panel problem" and username "bjb007" you'll
find some useful info.

If I was clever I could give you a link
but I'm not so....
Life is just a bowl of cherries.

Hi kotikoti,

I recommend this url as an invaluable place of resources!
Please check all the stacks there or at least the ones that you are interested.

http://support.runrev.com/scriptingconferences/

I do not know why Rev is hiding this URL, took me 5 minutes to find it...

Best

Thanks gang,
Proves I was not going mad here, thought was meant to be as simple as, select tab element, add stuff to it...
Will go and read/download the pointed resources, (after a lie down).
