Does anyone know when a stable version of LiveCode which includes support Chrome will be released? Will LiveCode 6.7 (Stable) be released any time soon or is that contingent upon all the rest of the HTML work?
Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,
We are in the process of testing the latest dp release of 6.7 (dp5). This will include specific revBrowser CEF fixes, multimedia changes and various other bug fixes/enhancements. We are hoping to get this released at some point this week.
If all goes well with this release, 6.7 will soon move into RC status and then a stable release will be made available.
Kind Regards,
Neil Roger

Neil,
I compiled my program with 6.7 (dp 6) in order to be able to access the Chrome browser. The program works great and I can now deal with long URLs which weren't possible with Explorer. Now I have a new problem. My executable went from about !0 MB to 30MB and I can no longer upload it to the Yahoo group where I share it with others. Will I have better luck with size when the 'official' 6.7 is released? Since I have been sharing it with both Mac and PC people I have been using both the regular revBrowser and the 'Cef' when I compile. Will I have any better luck with two separate compiles or can 'Cef' be used for both Macs and PCs.
Congratulations on the HTML5 campaign.
Larry
