errors in Browser Sampler stack

Using latest version of RR on latest Mac OS X. Some of the functionality in the Browser Sample stack just simply isn't working. Can any of you confirm it works with your installation?
For example, on Card #10 (Getting the Browser Image) the Show Scrollbars checkbox doesn't work and after clicking Make Thumbnail, the image that gets inserted is completely distorted.
I'm just reading the docs and running what's on them, unchanged.
