Hello All,
I don't think this is illegal
From google
Feel free to use, remix, and re-share the icons in your products. The icons are available under the CC-BY license. We'd love attribution in your app's "about" screen, but it's not required. The only thing we ask is that you not re-sell the icons
I converted all the icons into a font with a very long name.

sorry it's so small
follow Scott's instructions for using it here;
http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.ph ... 0&p=128259
(just replace fontawesome with this fonts name)
Windows users use Character Map to get the codes I think Mac users get it from fontBook(?).

There are a few good icons in there, the best part is the standard ones are there.

Oh, why use a font? It scales really well, no jaggies or blurring.

Simon
Edit 1; Copy the .ttf file using the Copy Files in the standalone settings to get it to show up when run as a standalone.

Thanks very much. This is bound to be useful. I collect these kinds of things just in case, and I usually end up needing them.
