What are the dangers in moving a fairly large project from LiveCode 7 to LiveCode 8? As long as I haven't used any widgets can I migrate back to LC7 if I feel I need to? I would like to get used to the differences in 8 even though I don't plan to put any widgets in my project.
Thanks,
Larry

Re: LiveCode 8 Question
1--Livecode 8 is not stable yet.
2--To open an LC 8 stack in LC 7, you will have to save it first as a legacy (LC 5.5 or 2.7 or 2.4) stack.
This can break things from my experience if you use functionality that was not in earlier versions.
3--I would open a copy of my project in LC8 and see how it goes, but I would zip up a few spare copies of your LC 7 project and keep them in reserve in case things go wrong.
Murphy's Law is never far away:-)
