Can I send a "mouseUp" with a parameter?

send "mouseUp" to button Gen10(mVar)

Made mVar global to no effect. It gets lost on the way.

Yes you can... I have attached a stack that passes a pararmeter, the number of times to beep from one button to another... hope it helps
