I have an iPad 3 (model MC706TY/A) with iOS 9.3.5

On the iPad simulator mobilePlaySoundOnChannel TheSoundPath, "Ch1","now" works fine.
In the fisical iPAD, NO sound is coming out.

I set mobileSetSoundChannelVolume "Ch1",100, I checked the correct path, tried with .aif and mp3, with a clean stack to no avail.

Am I missing something?

Did the device's mute button get accidentally pressed? That happened to someone else here once.

Sorry, I only mentioned it because the other person didn't know it had happened and it was the only thing I could think of. I've probably been here too long.

Aha. So it was me being stupid.
