Hi all,

I've just updated my version of Quick Time but does that mean the QT player object has been updated?

If not, can I?

Does it matter?

Rev's player object doesn't replicate the QT subsystem, but merely makes calls to it to play video. So updating your QT should also mean the latest codecs etc. are available to your player.

But note that this won't affect your end-users; if your app requires a specific version of QT you'll want to notify your users to make sure they also have that version.
