Issues with menus

I run on Win10 and the development system menus keep dropping down behind other object on the screen. This is beyond annoying and disqualifies what is otherwise an exciting system from serious contention in our shop. Does anyone have a way around this? I am running the app in Win7 compatibility mode and launching it as an administrator but still no joy on this issue.
I used to be a Hypercard developer back in the day and am otherwise really excited by this product. Any help with this would be appreciated.
