Can someone remind me how to set the About [Application] menu item (first menu item in the Apple menu)? Is it just a case of include an "About" menu item in one of the menus (Help menu?). Ages since I have done this so I have forgotten... I see an entry in help for "apple menu" but it doesn't explain how to set it.

Hi Rod,

it has to go into the HELP menu as last line:

Help
-
About Whatever you need, Rod
...................................
Then it will appear as the "About..." menuitem in the Apple menu.

Reminder for the "Preferences", they go as last line into the "Edit" button:

Cut/X
Copy/C
Paste/V
-
Preferences
......................................
